DIY Memory Matching Game
Shelby loves to count, especially when he is counting sheep! Remember where they are, and help him match up all the sheep in this Do-It-Yourself memory matching game.
For 1 or more players. May be best enjoyed by Ages 4 and up.*

Shelby Counts One-Two DIY Memory Matching Game
First, we send a welcome to our young Shelby the Shepherd friends! We are so happy that you get to enjoy the memory matching game that features Little Two from the musical Shelby The Shepherd, The Musical! Just like Shelby does in the musical, you get to count one-two as you play this fun memory matching game.

We also say a special “Thank You” to our grown-up friends for helping our young friends with this fun and easy DIY (Do-It-Yourself) game.
GATHER YOUR MATERIALS
||     You will need the printable game cards download and paper for printing out the game cards. A heavier card stock is recommended for printing the game cards on so you will be unable to see which one it is before turning it over during the game.
HINT: If you will be printing the game cards on regular paper, you may want to have an additional heavier paper like card stock or poster board to use as a backing paper to glue or tape the game cards to.  (*Just be sure that any materials you use are non-toxic and that nothing can become a choking hazard to anyone.)
||     Also, the game cards can be printed in color (as provided but not shown) or in grayscale so you can color them yourself. If you decide to prepare the game cards in the colors of your choice, you will also need your favorite colored pencils, crayons, markers, or paints.
PREPARE THE GAME CARDS
||     Print the game cards. Each set of cards includes the numbers 1-12 in four different colors each—yellow, purple, green, and blue (provided but not shown). The game is set up to only match the numbers, but if you want to make it a little more difficult by matching colors, too, just print an additional set of game cards.
||     Add your colors, if needed. You may color just the number or the whole sheep!
||     Cut the game cards apart.
||     Glue or tape the game cards to the extra backing paper, if needed. If using the extra backing paper, make sure to make all the squares the same size!
TIME TO PLAY!
||     Lay out all the game cards, face down and in rows that can be easily reached by all players.
||     Each player, on their turn, flips over 2 game cards at a time. If the game cards match, the player gets to keep them! If the game cards are not a match, the player must turn them back over in the same spot they were in.
HINT: Be sure not to move the game cards around if they weren’t a match! That is the “memory” part of the game!
ANOTHER HINT: You may use as many of the game cards as you desire. If the player is less skilled or you desire a shorter game, begin with fewer cards. Then add in additional game cards as skills increase or if you desire a longer game.
||     Play continues until all game cards have been matched. If there are multiple players, the player with the most matched game cards is the winner!
